(NO)BODY

It is a multidisciplinary art project that aims to expand the post-

pornographic imagery and aesthetic horizons of sublime beauty,

through the photographic look inspired by the sensitivity of the

models portrayed.

Bodies explore sensuality and sexual identities that go beyond what

it is stipulated by the prevailing fees in our current consumer

society. Thus, art becomes a tool of perceptual expansion and

broadmindedness, besides being a way to claim aesthetic and sexual

rights of all human beings, regardless of its distinctive features and

peculiarities.

(NO) BODY II is winner WTA Emerging Art Award 2015

Goals

Aesthetic DEFENSE AND SEXUAL RIGHTS OF ALL HUMAN

BEINGS. (NO) BODY is implicit in its name denouncing

censorship suffered by those bodies that deviate from the norm or

the "politically correct". With hidden violence these bodies are seen

as asexual and marginal, so that no body (no body) becomes the

Nobody (no) when the inalienable right of all beings to the ability to

express their identity with fullness is denied.

EXPAND POST-pornographic imagery. What is beauty? What

makes a desirable body? Flatly, free, spontaneous, genuine and

creative expression; pure manifestation of being, without labels or

estereotipables filters, without blocking or censorship. Indeed, the

message of the project goes beyond the complaint, since it seeks to

express the beauty and eroticism of bodies that depart from the

canons and therefore traditionally been annulled and impeded as

desirable and desiring.

BEAUTY AS FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. And yet we can go a

step further: close, nobody is normal. One of the fundamental

problems of modern society is that we are all victims of the tyranny

of aesthetic superficiality. The real beauty is the freedom to be

yourself, without having to hide; it is the freedom to express our

desire without being judged.

The experience of being tied, besides creating beauty, helps us to

create patterns and shapes with a rope, which contrast nicely with

the natural curves of the human body and limbs. The position of the

nodes in the appropriate places, stimulates points pressure in the

body, in much the same way acupuncture techniques and  Shiatsu. It

induces an inner journey. Creating an increased level of endorphins

and other hormones, creating an experience of trance, these effects

are really visible on the face of the model.

All bodies are beautiful, all are desirable and desiring bodies, all

bodies have the right to create joy, happiness and pleasure.

Sexuality will be creative, or it will not be.

Who we are

(NO) BODY is a project managed by the artist Glu WUR, where

you are invited to collaborate on artistic groups, photographers,

binders and models that are related to the project.

To form a group of social and artistic research.

In this case, shibari techniques, ancient Japanese art, made as an

erotic aesthetic for the exploration of the different bodies, creating

moments of emotion and intention through the ropes is explored.

That will be reflected in photographs shown by the different looks of

the photographers.

Although the characters of this story are artistic people involved as

models portraits. Or anyone interested in participating as a model of

shibari and witness in the project, and feel identified in the message
